Beginner Watercolour Classes

Subject - Pohutakawa Tree on the Kapiti Coast

For this workshops we'll be painting a summer scene with a flowering pohutakawa tree on the Kapiti coast. The base drawing will already be done for you, enabling you to focus on the joys of watercolour painting. We’ll start by painting the sky and applying free watercolour washes 'wet into wet' to create some soft edged clouds and then other watercolour techniques for the rest of the painting.

All materials provided, just turn up and leave 2 hours later with your own painting like this.
  • Youth Beginner Class - Sat 9th Dec 10am - 12 midday
  • Adult Beginner Class - Sat 9th Dec 1 - 3pm
