Art Classes

Our regular art workshops increase in popularity and have become so popular that we have had to offer extra classes. It has been wonderful to see the joy attendees have been getting when they discover how much fun watercolours are.

The youth classes have been generously sponsored by Watercolour New Zealand who actively encourage youth into watercolours.

Beginner Watercolour Workshops

What a buzz the last set of workshops were, for both youth and adults. The workshops in the first week of the July school holidays were so popular, that both parents and kids were asking for more so we set to and organised more for the 2nd week as well. It is so rewarding to see the young artists so enthused and doing so well. The extraordinary improvements from those who have attended regularly is impressive. Yes- we'll definitely organise more for the next school holidays in October. The adults 'Wine and Watercolour' class held on the Friday evening was so much fun too and the teacher enjoyed it as much as the students.

Next Watercolour Workshops - Sat 12 August

In each of these next planned watercolour workshops, you’ll be guided through painting a dingy moored at Lowry Bay. The drawing will already be done for you to enable us to focus on the joys of watercolour painting. We’ll cover the various watercolour techniques that make watercolours such fun.

As per usual all materials will be supplied, just turn up empty handed and you’ll leave with your own completed watercolour painting on quality WC paper and a dial of creative satisfaction on your dial

Saturday 12 Aug 10am - 12pm - Beginner Watercolour Workshop $50

She was once an orphan herself and has been very grateful for similar sponsorship she received as a youth and would now like to return this gift to someone else.
